Focal Point

"And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him."
Colossians 3:17

We live in a culture of mediocrity, where excellence is a rarity. So often so many want to do so little-as little as possible-of what they must do, so they can move on to things that they want to do. Most people are dissatisfied with their jobs-what they do and who they work for, as well as being dissatisfied with other various aspects of their lives.
The reason?
It's human nature to naturally focus on ourselves-what makes us happy, feeding fleshly desires, and conversely, we also focus on that which makes us unhappy.
The Bible tells us that the pursuit of happiness and excellence in life-job performance and satisfaction, personal life and relationships, happens when Jesus is the center of everything we have, do, are. When we do it all, live for Him we exude and demonstrate excellence and the pursuit of happiness and excellence is found in focusing only on Jesus.
He is the Focal Point.
