Thoughts/ Ascribing Glory

What comes into our minds when we think about God is the most important thing about us."
A.W. Tozer, The Knowledge of The Holy

“But what about you?” he asked. “Who do you say I am?”
~Jesus the Messiah, Mark 8:29a

What place in your thought life, your deepest places, does the Lord occupy? I'm not talking about what you say, but rather, does the Most High God occupy the highest place, front and center, in your heart, mind, soul, and spirit?

Ascribe to the Lord, O mighty ones,
ascribe to the Lord glory and strength.
Ascribe to the Lord the glory due his name;
worship the Lord in the splendor of his holiness.
The voice of the Lord is over the waters;
the God of glory thunders,
the Lord thunders over the mighty waters.
The voice of the Lord is powerful;
the voice of the Lord is majestic.
The voice of the Lord shakes the desert;
the Lord shakes the Desert of Kadesh.
The voice of the Lord twists the oaks
and strips the forests bare.
And in his temple all cry, “Glory!”
Psalm 29:1-4, 8, 9

Beloved, give the Lord His dues, He is our first and greatest, love Him furiously, be consumed with Zeal for Him- the same way that He burns with love for each of us.
