Foundations/ Moments of Truth

“Why do you call me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and do not do what I say? I will show you what he is like who comes to me and hears my words and puts them into practice. He is like a man building a house, who dug down deep and laid the foundation on rock. When a flood came, the torrent struck that house but could not shake it, because it was well built. But the one who hears my words and does not put them into practice is like a man who built a house on the ground without a foundation. The moment the torrent struck that house, it collapsed and its destruction was complete.”
Luke 6:46-49

Feeding on the Word of God, and being disciples, and doing what Jesus commanded becomes critical especially in times of testing and trials...when the winds blow, and the shaking comes. The moments of truth...when foundations that have been prepared, and roots that have gone deep as a result of the Gardener's pruning and proper "feeding" will stand the testing. If you are a young believer, or have been spared up till your reading of this post, or you have gone through your share already, be rest assured: the trials will come,
BUILD AND FORTIFY YOUR FOUNDATIONS NOW.
These trials will come in many different forms: sickness, death of someone near you, financial issues, persecution as a Christian for your faith, marriage upheaval, prodigal children, governmental evil in the country you live in as Christians are more and more becoming targets.
Beloved, eat the scroll, feed upon His Word, as He is the Word.
To eat the scroll is as taking communion with Him...pray without ceasing.
Prepare to stand and stay standing in every moment of Truth and testing.
