Surmountable

"They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death."
Rev. 12:11

"No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us."
Romans 8:37

Today is June 6, the anniversary of D-Day, the beginning of the all-out assault on the Axis powers, an enemy that was the embodiment of everything evil. The movie, Saving Private Ryan, has an excellent and realistic portrayal in the opening scenes of what the battle looked like. It was a beach landing at Normandy, France, and overlooking the beaches were machine guns, artillery, etc, shooting down onto the Allied soldiers. At great cost and with great sacrifice, tremendous trials and tribulation, and perseverance, victory in Europe was attained.

The Lord has me in a battle mode lately! I am being prompted in the spirit, reminded of the battle we are in, and the need for readiness, preparedness in the Spirit, and the need to constantly seek His face and spend time paying attention to the voice of our Bridegroom. What looms ahead for us is VICTORY. The Word reads: "we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us". Read that again, beloved : MORE THAN CONQUERORS...!
Today, though personal trials may come, remember that victory is assured. Use the armor God has provided (Ephesians 6), wield your sword effectively (which is the Word of God) in the face of adversity, do what Jesus did! When He was tempted by the devil, He simply used the Word, saying IT IS WRITTEN.
Through Adversity and trials stand fast, victory is ahead...Take heart, the battle is the Lord's!
