Who Do You Say That You Are?/ Labels

"But whoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven."
Matthew 10:33

While Peter was below in the courtyard, one of the servant girls of the high priest came by. 67 When she saw Peter warming himself, she looked closely at him.
“You also were with that Nazarene, Jesus,” she said.
68 But he denied it. “I don’t know or understand what you’re talking about,” he said, and went out into the entryway.[g]
69 When the servant girl saw him there, she said again to those standing around, “This fellow is one of them.” 70 Again he denied it.
After a little while, those standing near said to Peter, “Surely you are one of them, for you are a Galilean.”
71 He began to call down curses, and he swore to them, “I don’t know this man you’re talking about.”
Mark 14:66-71

"So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, 7 rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.8 See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the elemental spiritual forces[a] of this world rather than on Christ. 9 For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form, 10 and in Christ you have been brought to fullness."
Col.2:6-9

How do you identify yourself, what label or title would you give yourself? If asked the question: "who are you?", how do you respond? What do you say to others about the importance of Jesus, and what sort of priority does He take in your life? I ask the question again: Just how important is Jesus in your daily life, as we move about in a culture that separates out the Lord and Master of the Universe from every place except church? Are your eyes fixed on, focused on, Jesus- is He the headline, main story in your life, or an op-ed on the back page? If pointed out and asked in an accusatory, non-complementary manner if you are a follower of Jesus, "one of those who were with Him", especially when persecution increases for Christians in America as it has elsewhere in the world (which is even now on the rise)- How do you answer?
I want to be a reflection of Jesus first, above all else - Jesus first, just as He put us first, and loved us first. Nothing else will matter or last- only Jesus.
We were created by Him, for Him, to be in relationship with Him, we are His Reward.
Make Jesus your utmost for His Highest.
