We live in times of adversity! Take a look around, in any realm you choose, and listen closely, you can hear the sabers rattling, forces of darkness lining up against forces of Light. The stage is being set for the Battle of the Ages, and as we are brothers and sisters, soldier's in the Lord's Army, we are to sharpen each other, to edify, encourage, and sometimes carry one another, keeping each other accountable, sometimes pulling and sometimes pushing one another back up onto the Narrow Way, when we stumble or fall.
There are no "lone rangers" in God's Kingdom; we have been bought with a very high price, we all belong to Him, and we are all members of the same Body, inextricably connected, and necessary to one another, just as our human bodies' organs are different, specific and necessary.
How do you view others? Do you hold others, regardless of personality, political views, idiosyncrasies, physical appearance, race, socio-economic status, with the same regard? Do you see them through Holy Spirit, Jesus-filtered vision, where the Lord looks at the heart, and since He is no respecter of persons, none of these factors matter? I can't say that I'm totally there yet, but I am pushing forward, this is part of the race being run.
Today beloved, make it a point to have your brother's and sister's backs.
