It seems to me that excellence is hard to find these days. The standard that many people use has much to do with pleasing themselves, and doing what is convenient and comfortable, and often very little with "doing our best". But as lovers, bondservants, disciples of the Lord Jesus, we need to remember it is Him that we are working for and serving. He deserves our utmost...after all, He gave us His absolute best... we are to be living sacrifices, giving Him the purest, finest gifts and offerings we are able to present, in every way, shape, and form ... not the leftovers of our lives, and definitely not that which is mediocre. In the workplace, in our relationships, with our resources, in our lives- we are to present our very best to Him, in everything that we have been given stewardship over.
Today beloved, give Him your very best...He is deserving and more than worthy.
