Promises (On Display)

“Then say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord God: “Surely I will take the children of Israel from among the nations, wherever they have gone, and will gather them from every side and bring them into their own land; and I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king over them all; they shall no longer be two nations, nor shall they ever be divided into two kingdoms again."
Ezekiel 37:21, 22


God is not a man, that he should lie, nor a son of man, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill?
Numbers 23:19

When there are difficulties in life and it feels like you are in a desert experience, maybe your faith and hopes have been weakened. You try to pray, but it feels like your words are bouncing off the ceiling, that you are unheard and unnoticed by the Lord. You,  a friend or loved one might be reeling from devastating events where you wonder where the Lord is in all of this...

Consider the nation of Israel, the evidence of the Lord's unbroken promises on display! The prophecies concerning Israel and the Jewish people whom He chose are many, numbering into the thousands - there are hundreds,prophesying just one thing: the return and regathering of His people to the Land of Israel. Other prophecies fulfilled include Israel's present economic success, the export of agriculture to worldwide markets, the deserts blooming, Jerusalem becoming the site and center of the religious world today, Israel's stunning and impossible military victories agianst Goliath-sized adversaries, forests replacing the barren landand many many more- Israel is a sign on display to the world at large declaring:

THE LORD ALONE IS GOD, HE WILL COMPLETE ALL THAT HE PROMISES. HIS WORD IS TRUSTWORTHY AND TRUE. HIS PROMISES ARE NOT JUST FOR ISRAEL, THE  NATURAL OLIVE TREE, BUT FOR ALL MY CHILDREN, ALL WHO CALL ON HIS NAME AND TRUST IN HIM.

Trust in the Lord today, beloved. He is faithful and true, and He will finish every good work that He has begun, including in you!
