The Only Safe Place

"Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful.

 26 He replied, “You of little faith, why are you so afraid?” Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the waves, and it was completely calm.
 27 The men were amazed and asked, “What kind of man is this? Even the winds and the waves obey him!”

There is a "perfect storm" converging... Everywhere we look there is much handwriting on many walls: economies teetering, war drums beating, bombs and families exploding, suicide rates at all time highs, moral bankrupcy abounding, signs in the heavens, and on the earth...prophecies fulfilled before our very eyes... People are nervous, uncertain, and many downright scared almost to death, not having any idea what's going on, not having any clue what to do, where to run to, who to trust. There is no prime minister, no president, no company, no government, no army, no bank account, that will protect us, sustain us, care for us- save us-when the world as we know it implodes.
Now, I have written about this before, but as the "heat gets turned up"-and it will-we will see and hear of many who will be running about looking for answers, but will not find any, except in Jesus! Have you ever seen a sign or a bumper sticker that states, "Whatever the question, Jesus is the Answer"?
Wherever you are, whatever trials you face, when it seems that you are engulfed in the Perfect Storm, trust in Jesus alone.
There is no storm He can't handle.
